Events I photograph
I photograph the celebrations that bring families and friends together, especially the ones where the guest list spans generations. Common events include:

How I cover an event
I cover events in a documentary style, moving quietly through the room and photographing what actually happens instead of stopping the party for posed shots. Guests relax faster when the photographer isn't directing them, and the photos show it.
The important posed photos still get done. A typical event flows like this:
- Decor, cake and details before guests arrive
- The host family together while everyone looks fresh
- Guest arrivals, greetings and candid moments
- The main moments: cake cutting, speeches, games, gifts or rituals
- Group photos with each table, family branch or friend group you request

Every Event Photography package includes one high-quality Instagram reel: a short, vertical highlight video made for sharing on Instagram, in WhatsApp statuses or in the family group chat. It's often the first thing people ask to see after a party.
The reel pulls together the decor, guest moments, the cake or main ritual and the energy of the room. Because it's planned from the start, I watch for movement, laughter and transitions that work in a short video, alongside the still photos.
If there's a particular moment you want in the reel, like a surprise entrance or a first dance at an anniversary, tell me before the event so I'm in the right place. The reel is the quick way to share the day; the full photo gallery remains the complete record.
Planning tips for hosts
A little planning before the day gives you better photos without any extra effort on the day itself. These are the things that help most:
- Share the schedule - cake cutting, speeches, games and any surprises, with rough times
- Name a helper - a cousin or friend who knows everyone can point out people for group photos
- Light the main spots - put the cake table and backdrop near windows or under good lighting, not in a dark corner
- Plan group photos early - elders and young kids tend to tire or leave first
- Leave room around the cake - so guests can gather and I can see faces, not backs
